About Te-Qu

Where street art meets streetwear.
Where culture becomes commerce.
Artists reclaim their narrative.

Our Mission

Te Qu exists to uplift and empower underrepresented street artists by giving them real ways to create, sell, and grow their work.
What started through apparel now extends into physical space, community, and opportunity.
Rooted in Little Village, we connect art, people, and commerce so culture stays in the hands of the people who create it.

Community

We exist to uplift the neighborhoods, artists, and voices that shaped us.
We create space for people to come together, build, and grow.
Collaboration over competition always.

Culture

Every drop, whether a collab or Te Qu original, reflects lived experience.
We preserve, honor, and celebrate street and barrio culture through design, not trend.

Authenticity

We stay real.
Everything we create carries raw expression, true narrative, and honest intent.

Empowerment

We create real opportunities for artists to own their work, earn from it, and build something lasting.

Respect

From sourcing to collaboration, respect guides everything we do.
For people, for art, for the process.

Integrity

We stand on our word, protect creative value, and do what is right even when it is not easy.

Our Story

Born in Little Village and inspired by Pilsen, Te Qu started with a vision to create real opportunities for local artists from neighborhoods rich in culture but often overlooked in commerce.
Founder Daniel Silva brings together logistics and street level creativity to build something bigger than a brand.
What started with apparel is growing into a space for artists to create, sell, and connect, turning culture into real opportunity.

Meet Our Founder - Daniel M Silva

Born and raised in Little Village, Chicago, Daniel Silva is a first generation Mexican American rooted in culture, community, and hard work.

He built his career in logistics and operations, learning how to create systems, lead teams, and scale ideas. Those same skills now drive Te Qu.

What started as a streetwear brand has grown into something bigger. Daniel is building a space where artists can create, sell, and turn their work into real opportunity.

For him, Te Qu is not just clothing. It is about ownership, culture, and making sure the people who create the work benefit from it.
